Just for fun... Volvo: The Hunt

On April 24 I recieved an email Announcing that the Hunt was on! Unfortunately, I did not get it until the morning of May 4 so I missed pre-registration. Funny thing is, I found it only an hour after The Hunt started so I didn't loose any time. I jumped in my car and went straight to the closest Volvo Dealer.

Here's the deal. From May 4 to May 30, 2007, Volvo is holding another treasure hunt. The first few people to solve a series of computer puzzles wins... or at least last year they won a chance to go to an undisclosed location and play a series of live puzzles to win the grand prize.

So here's the map. This year it's double sided. You can start the game without a map (click HERE to start), but by the time you solve the fourth puzzle you are required to enter a code from a map you get from a dealer.

The rules (Section 5) state that you have to turn in your original map when you get to the finals, so if you decide to play to win, you must have your own unique map.

Last year I read that you could have a map mailed to you, but I can't find anything in the rules that talk about this.

Last year the puzzles started fairly easy and got harder and harder. I expect these to be the same. Here are a list of blogs, newsgroups and websites that I've found so far:
